What is Lasting Impressions?

This year A/P is thrilled to showcase our broad community of A/P members through LASTING IMPRESSIONS, which we will host in our Main Exhibition Space from August 20 - September 23.


Through this exhibition, we aim to: 

  • Welcome new members, and welcome back past and existing members as we return to in-person gallery programming

  • Foster community through an inclusive group exhibition

  • Connect our broad community of local and global artists while showcasing the breadth and depth of printmaking 

  • Promote sales that will support individual artists while raising funds to sustain A/P operations and programming (*artworks do not need to be available for sale to participate)

Who can Participate?

This opportunity is FREE (no participation fees!) and open to CURRENT A/P MEMBERS who work in print-based media, from anywhere around the globe. 

This exhibition is NON-JURIED. A/P will accept all submissions that adhere to the artwork guidelines, and submission steps outlined in the registration form.

 

ALL experience levels are welcome, and anyone can become a member! 

ABOUT A/P MEMBERSHIP

Artwork Specifications

Members are welcome to submit ONE current or past artwork that incorporates print-based media with a paper size no larger than 11"x15."

Three-dimensional works that have two of their dimensions within 11” x 15” may be considered on an individual basis. Please contact A/P in advance to inquire.

ALL forms of PRINT-MEDIA are welcome including lithography, intaglio, relief, screenprint, monotype, and other expanded and mixed media practices in printmaking.

PRESENTATION:

1. Work must be Work must be submitted UNFRAMED and UNMATTED as it will be hung with magnets. 

For works that are not on paper, we will do our best to accommodate other installation requirements. Please contact A/P in advance to inquire.  

2. When submitting artwork to A/P, it must be fully dry and placed between a rigid card or backing, and it must be clearly labeled with the artist's name.  

 

THEME/SUBJECT MATTER:

There is no theme for this exhibition and members are welcome to work of any theme or subject matter.*

*However, A/P reserves the right to exclude any work that promotes violence, hatred, or intolerance. 

Exhibition Details

LASTING IMPRESSIONS will be on display in the A/P Main Gallery from August 20 - September 23, 2022, and will be open to the public during gallery hours. 

 

A/P will promote this exhibition through a small run of print promotions, through our media and community networks, and online through our website, e-newsletter, and social media channels.

 

An opening reception and celebration will be held on August 20 from 2-4pm.

 

Artworks may be available for sale throughout the exhibition (based on each artist’s preference).

3. DEADLINE to have works ARRIVE at A/P:

 

NO LATER THAN AUGUST 10, 2022
