How to become a Member at Alberta Printmakers: 


Alberta Printmakers has an open membership, which means anyone, anywhere

in the world can become a member to show support for the organization and its services. Any person, organization or business may become a Member by agreeing to abide by A/P Bylaws and Policies, providing the requested membership information and paying the corresponding membership fee.


Annual Membership Fees for 2023/2024:


Regular Membership: $30.00 

This rate is for individuals, organizations or businesses. Organization and business members shall only have one vote, and shall be represented through one individual nominated by the member organization as their representative.


Student/AISH Beneficiary Membership: $10.00 

Student rates apply to those enrolled in high school or post secondary educational programs with a valid student card. AISH Beneficiaries may receive the reduced rate upon the presentation of current benefits card


Annual Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Members with a valid membership will be considered “Active Members” and Members with lapsed memberships will be considered “Expired Members” until membership is renewed. 


Memberships are non transferable and non refundable. Members may resign their membership at any time by communicating their intention to resign to the Executive Director. Membership may be revoked through the process outlined in the A/P Bylaws and Policies Documents. 


Why become a Member?


As a Non-Profit organization, A/P relies on the generosity of our patrons through memberships, volunteering and donations to offer affordable, high quality programming and printmaking education to the public. 


Member Benefits:


  • Members are able to take part in In-Person Studio Workshops and Classes and may access equipment rentals and studio time.


  • Members receive invitations to members' shows, sales, exchanges, fundraisers, and other special events. 


  • Members receive benefits from our partners in the community around Calgary, including a 20% discount at Inglewood Art Supplies upon showing a valid membership card.


  • Members who volunteer with A/P are eligible to participate in our Volunteer IncentiveHour Redemption program. 


  • Members have the right to attend Board meetings as observers and may access Board and Committee minutes, reports and financial statements.


  • Members have the right to one vote at the Annual General Meeting.


  • Members may join a Committee and/or the Board. Members interested in a Committee or Board position can indicate their interest to the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee or the Executive Director.
